In late January we had no idea what February would bring.
I knew BlissDom was coming (post on that coming tomorrow!)
but other than that I figured we’d have a quiet winter-ish time.
As winter-ish as it can get in the South, anyway.
But in the last week of January our family got hit with what would be the first of at least three different bugs that made February entirely full of sick.
It goes down in infamy as “The Month That Didn’t Happen”.
As “Feb 2012 – That One Time When Six People Stayed Sick In Our House For A Month”.
As “DEAR GOD WHY, LOVE ME”.
All that to say – baby girl is now 5 months old
and I’ve hardly blogged about her, never mind her big brothers!
Let’s remedy that and let Spring make up for it, yes?
These photos kill me with cuteness because dressing River feels like a dream.
IT IS SO FUN.
Also: all pics are still phone pics. Maybe when she’s 6 months old I’ll return to the DSLR?
How can she be real???
I took these photos in January approximately 1 day
before the stomach flu hit her and the rest of us. (FUN TIMES!)
She seems even bigger now, and ready to sit up any second.
Also? She is magical.
Her dresses were sent c/o Tea,
the yellow vintage sweater was thrifted and a prezzie from a bestie,
her moccs are from Freshly Picked,
her tiny flower headband is from My Darling Emma shop
and the big flower headband and black flower shoes are c/o zuzii.
Tea’s clothes are so poignant and delicious
and these pieces were inspired by the designers’ trip to Bali.
You can find the adorable blue ikat inspired dress here
and the gorgeous batik dress here,
and keep an eye out in a future post for River in this darling romper.
Their new arrivals section for baby girls is seriously stalk-worthy.
I’m coveting the amazing mermaid themed items next!
Also don’t miss Tea’s blog – tons of great info there like
this I heart Bali printable and
their “Behind the Design” feature
that shares info on how they designed various fabrics and pieces!
Tea wanted to give away $100 gift certificate to one of you to spend on their gorgeous wares. So fun!!
